Accessibility statement
This service is run by North Yorkshire Council's Economy and Tourism Service. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it.
What we have done
- Designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA — the international standard for accessible websites.
- Works with screen readers and with a keyboard alone — you do not need a mouse or touchscreen.
- You can make the text larger with the A, A+ and A++ button at the top of every page.
- There are no time limits anywhere in the tool.
- Every spoken question also appears as text on the screen.
- There is a full typing option for anyone who cannot or does not want to use voice.
Our current position
We believe this service meets WCAG 2.2 AA in most places. It has not yet been independently tested, so we cannot claim full compliance. When formal testing is complete, we will update this page.
Known issues
We will list anything here once formal testing is complete.
Tell us about a problem

The council aims to reply within five working days.
