Your privacy
We built this tool so you can practise without worrying. On the website, your answers stay on your device. We do not watch what you type or say. If you ring us, see the section below.
What we do not do
- We do not ask you to make an account or log in.
- We do not save anything you type or say on the website, including your answers, your voice, or the job advert you paste.
- We never share anything with employers — not now, not ever.
- We do not show adverts or use tracking tools from other companies.
What we do keep
We count how many people use the tool each week. That is a simple number — like "42 people this week" — and it can never show who you are or what you practised.
If you ring us instead
You can also practise by phone if that is easier than using a website.
When you ring, the companies that carry the call can see the number you are calling from, in the same way they would for any phone call.
We do not keep a record of your number, we do not know who you are, and your number is never linked to anything you said or how you did. Nothing you say on the call is recorded or kept. The call is deleted from our voice provider's system within a day.
Voice processing
When you use talk mode, your speech is turned into text by our voice technology partner. This happens while you practise and is not kept afterwards.
Who runs this tool
Interview Ready is run by North Yorkshire Council's Economy and Tourism Service. We built it to help local people feel ready for job interviews.
